fashion magazines

I love fashion magazines! Although I don't buy them regularly I enjoy looking at them because  they inspire me. Getting the latest ideas or styles regarding make-up, accessories  from around the world is definitely exciting and makes me change my style from time to time.  Especially fashion websites follow the latest trends and are easy to navigate thanks to various icons which forward you to the next page. I did my mini teaching activity in TESL 573 on popular culture using magazines as the medium. Personally i believe that magazines are a great teaching tool in the EFL/ESL classroom  Magazines are highly versatile resources and offer amazing potential not only for fostering student's speaking skills but also for collages and  art projects. Having students look at  the cover and ask them what they think this magazine is about: is it an entertainment, fashion, or news magazine?  Ask them to guess what each story is about based on the headline.
